Your class cartoonist never managed to get a comic strip syndicated or a children's book published. Instead, he stumbled onto a career as a graphic designer and spent 22 years as art director of a small automotive publishing company where he designed books and magazines written for automotive collectors and historians.

In 2000, the company was sold and I lost my job, sending our hero into a 19-year career tailspin of telemarketing, telephone survey taking, and packing candy for Godiva chocolates!!! I survived it all, and am now happily retired, enjoying life with my two wonderful children: Sarah (a Spanish teacher living in Maryland) and Dan (a professional musician and music director living in the Big Apple) and my two adorable grandchildren. Sadly, my wonderful wife of 41 years, Eve, passed away on February 19, 2021 after a two year battle with cancer.

The biggest news to report is that after spending four years at EBHS being too shy and nervous to join the Drama Club, I finally, at age 40, decided to get out of my shell and join the local Reading, PA, community theatre scene. I am proud to say that after 20+ years, I am now the biggest ham in town. In our December 2019 production of the musical ANNIE (where I played President FDR), I was the only major cast member who didn't wear a body mike. The director said I was LOUD ENOUGH without one!!

I plan to come back to New Jersey to celebrate the EBHS Class of 1971 50th reunion. I haven't been to a reunion since our 20th, so I'm looking forward it.

Stay well and stay safe!
